Cadbury's Christmas Selection Boxes: What's New, What's Gone, and What's Got Us Talking
It's that time of year again - the countdown to Christmas is officially on! And for many of us, that means one thing: Cadbury selection boxes. But this year, Cadbury has shaken things up a bit, and not everyone is happy about it.
What's New?
This year, Cadbury has introduced some new additions to their classic selection boxes. The most notable change is the "Cadbury Heroes" selection box. This new box features a mix of Cadbury's most popular chocolate bars, including Dairy Milk, Twirl, Crunchie, and Wispa. Other new additions include a "Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Heroes" box, which is basically a smaller version of the "Cadbury Heroes" box, and a "Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Buttons" box, which is a pretty self-explanatory one.
What's Gone?
The most notable absence this year is the "Cadbury Chocolate Favourites" box. This box was a fan favorite, and it included a mix of Cadbury's most popular chocolates, including Dairy Milk, Twirl, Wispa, and Flake. It seems like this box has been replaced by the new "Cadbury Heroes" box, but some fans are not happy about the change.
What's Got Us Talking?
The biggest issue that's got people talking is the lack of variety in the new selection boxes. It seems like Cadbury is focusing on their most popular chocolates, and that means some of the less popular options are getting left behind. For example, the "Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Buttons" box is just that - a box full of chocolate buttons. It might be good for kids, but it doesn't offer the same level of excitement as a box with a mix of different chocolates.
The Verdict:
The new Cadbury selection boxes are definitely a mixed bag. Some people love the new additions, while others miss the old favorites. Overall, it seems like Cadbury is trying to simplify their Christmas offerings, but in doing so, they've lost some of the variety that made their selection boxes so popular. We'll have to see if they make any changes next year. But hey, at least we still have those delicious Dairy Milk bars!
