Celtic's Draw at Aberdeen: A Tale of Two Halves
So, the Bhoys were back in action this weekend, and let's just say it wasn't the most thrilling of matches. A trip up to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen – always a tough test – resulted in a frustrating draw, a real "tale of two halves" affair.
First Half Dominance, Second Half Slump
The first 45 minutes were pure Celtic. We were on fire, dominating possession and creating chance after chance. The lads were buzzing, moving the ball with real purpose, and it felt like a goal was coming any minute. But the chances were missed, the finishes were off target, and we went into the break with a frustrating 0-0 scoreline.
Second Half: Aberdeen Come Alive
The second half was a different story altogether. The Dons came out with renewed energy, started pressing higher, and suddenly the Bhoys were on the back foot. We couldn't seem to get a foothold, and the game became scrappy and messy. Aberdeen got a couple of good chances, but thankfully, the lads held firm and managed to secure the draw.
A Point Is Better Than None, But...
It's definitely a mixed bag. A point on the road is always a decent result, but we should have walked away with all three. The performance in the first half was impressive, but the lack of cutting edge and the second-half slump are definitely something to work on.
Looking Ahead
Next up, it's back to Celtic Park for another big clash. The boys need to take the positives from the first half at Aberdeen, and build on that momentum. We've got the quality in the squad to bounce back and get back to winning ways. Come on you Bhoys!
