Chicago's QB Hope: Williams Stays in D.C., Leaving Bears Fans Hanging

The Chicago Bears are still searching for their quarterback of the future, and one of their top targets, Sam Howell, just got snagged by the Washington Commanders. Yeah, you read that right. The guy the Bears were supposedly "all in" on decided to stay put, leaving the Windy City in a state of "wait, what?"

So, what went down? Well, it seems the Commanders, with a little help from the Carolina Panthers, pulled a fast one on the Bears. Howell, who was a hot commodity after a decent performance at the Senior Bowl, decided to stay in D.C. after being offered a deal by the Commanders.
