Daniels' Rib Injury: What We Know So Far
So, the Commanders' offense took a hit this week, and it's not a good one. Starting quarterback Sam Howell is dealing with a rib injury. Yikes! It happened during practice, and now we're all waiting to see how serious it is.
What's the deal?
Daniels had to leave practice early, and he was seen by the medical team. The good news is that he's not out for the season (yet!). The bad news? He's going through testing to see how bad the injury actually is. This is a big deal, especially since the Commanders are looking to him as their franchise quarterback.
The bigger picture
We all know the Commanders need to have a solid offense to be competitive in the league. Losing your starting quarterback for any amount of time is a bummer. It throws a wrench in the plans, and it's got folks worried.
Where do we go from here?
If Daniels is out for a bit, who's going to step up? Backup quarterback Jake Fromm is the guy right now, but that means the Commanders will need to be extra careful. It's crunch time, folks. We need to see how this plays out.
Stay tuned! We'll be keeping a close eye on this situation. Hopefully, it's nothing serious, and Daniels can get back out there soon. But in the meantime, we're holding our breaths.
Let's just hope the Commanders don't get derailed by this injury. We'll be sure to give you all the updates as soon as we have them.
