Corrie's Theme Tune Got Me Thinking…Gail's Heart Attack?

Okay, so I'm a massive Coronation Street fan, always have been, and I've been watching the show for as long as I can remember. You know what's been bugging me lately? That iconic Corrie theme tune. You know, the one with the dramatic strings and the low brass that always makes you feel like something dramatic is about to go down?

It's All Too Much…

Well, lately, I've been having a feeling that it's a little TOO dramatic. Especially since Gail Platt's been having a bit of a rough time with the whole “new romance” thing. We all know she’s had her fair share of heartache over the years, but this one with Michael is intense!

You see, the theme tune has been a bit heavier these past few weeks. And it's just been kicking in right when the scenes with Gail have started. Like, the strings are SO intense, it's like the music is trying to tell us something. Am I going crazy?

Think It Through

I've been trying to piece it all together, and I'm thinking Gail might be having some health issues, and the writers are using the theme tune to subtly hint at something big happening. Like, maybe she's going to have a heart attack?

I know, I know, I'm probably overthinking things. But the music just feels so foreboding. And I have to say, after all the stress she's been through, a heart attack wouldn't be entirely unexpected.
