Gyokeres Silences the Transfer Rumors: "Focus is on Brentford"

It's been a wild week for the Bees, and the transfer window isn't even open yet! Amidst all the talk of potential ins and outs, one name has been thrown around more than others: Viktor Gyokeres. The Swedish striker, who's been lighting up the Championship for Coventry City, has been linked with a move to West London. The links with Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim and Gyokeres started swirling after the Portuguese manager was spotted watching the striker in action for Coventry. “I’m not aware of anything, I’m not really interested in what is being said. My focus is on Brentford and doing the best I can for the club, that’s what I’m focused on,” Gyokeres told Sky Sports.

It's great to hear Gyokeres is focused on Brentford, especially given his hot streak. The big Swede has been absolutely on fire this season, bagging a whopping 21 goals in 36 games. He's the Championship's top scorer and has been instrumental in Coventry's push for promotion.
