Kep1er: "Seven Voices" - An Interview About Finding Their Individuality

Kep1er is back! The nine-member girl group just dropped their third mini album, "Seven Voices," and they're ready to show us a new side of themselves. We had the chance to chat with the members about their new album, their individual growth, and what they're looking forward to in the future.

It feels like this album is a bit different from your previous releases. What was the biggest change you wanted to showcase?

Chaehyun: We wanted to show that each of us is a unique voice, you know? We've been working hard to develop our individual strengths, and this album is a way for us to share that with everyone. It's like a "coming-of-age" album for Kep1er.

Yujin: I think it's the most emotional album we've released so far. We wanted to show our growth and the different sides of our voices. We're not just a group, we're nine individuals with stories to tell.

You mentioned individual growth. Can you tell us about some of the personal challenges you overcame during this comeback?

Hikaru: I was really nervous about writing my own lyrics for the first time. It's a big step for me, but I'm glad I pushed myself to try something new. It's about finding my own voice within the group.

Dayeon: Yeah, it's been tough sometimes. But I learned to be more confident in myself. You know, I'm still learning and growing, but I'm proud of how much I've accomplished.

The album is a bit more mature and introspective. What was the inspiration behind that theme?

Bahiyyih: We wanted to explore the idea of "finding your voice" and the journey of self-discovery. It's about learning who you are as a person and embracing your individuality.

Mashiro: This album is also about the power of our voices coming together. Even though we're all different, we can create something powerful and beautiful as a team.

The title track "Our Seasons" is super catchy! What was the inspiration for the music video?

Youngeun: We wanted to create something colorful and energetic, just like the song itself. We wanted to showcase our unique styles and personalities through different scenes and outfits.

Xiaoting: It's a song about celebrating all the different seasons of our lives and embracing the changes we go through. Just like the seasons, we're constantly growing and evolving.

What are you most excited about for this comeback?

Yeseo: I'm so excited to share this new side of Kep1er with our fans. We've been working so hard on this album, and I hope everyone enjoys it.

What's next for Kep1er? Any teasers for the future?

All members: We can't say too much, but we're planning some exciting things for the rest of the year! We're always working hard to bring you the best music and performances possible.
