Liberty Win a Thriller! Lynx Fall in Overtime, 86-84, to End Season
It was a nail-biter, folks! The New York Liberty took down the Minnesota Lynx in a dramatic overtime game, 86-84, to close out their season in style. The Lynx were down by 7 points in the final minutes but fought back to force overtime, making for a truly nerve-wracking end to the game.
It was a total team effort for the Liberty, with several players stepping up big time. Sabrina Ionescu, the superstar point guard, led the way with 25 points, including a game-winning jumper in overtime. Betnijah Laney added 24 points and Marine Johannes chipped in with 11, including a clutch three-pointer that tied the game in the final seconds of regulation.
