Man Utd Attack Stumbles in Chelsea Loss: Player Ratings
Man United's attack went AWOL at Stamford Bridge, as they suffered a frustrating 1-0 defeat to Chelsea. The Red Devils looked toothless in attack, failing to truly test Kepa Arrizabalaga in the Chelsea goal.
The game was a tale of two halves. In the first, United looked lively and created some decent chances. Bruno Fernandes was pulling the strings, but his shots were either off target or saved by a determined Kepa. Antony, on the other hand, was a real handful with his pace and trickery, causing havoc for the Chelsea defence. But the second half was a different story.
Chelsea came out of the blocks flying and deservedly took the lead through a well-taken goal from Enzo Fernandez. United struggled to get into the game and their attack, which was so promising in the first half, seemed to have gone missing. It was a frustrating performance from Ten Hag's side, who desperately needed a win to keep pace with the top teams.
