This is where the list starts getting really interesting, with some big names who are either on the rise or looking to bounce back in a big way.
40. Cameron Munster (Melbourne Storm)
Can we talk about the man, the myth, the legend? Munster's ability to break games open is something special. He's a true game-breaker, and with a bit more consistency, he could be even higher on this list.
39. Isaiah Papali'i (New Zealand Warriors)
The Warriors are back, and a lot of that is down to Papi's incredible workhorse mentality. He's a beast in the middle, and his ability to run the ball with power and aggression is simply awesome.
38. Reece Walsh (New Zealand Warriors)
This young fella is on fire. Walsh is a freak athlete with incredible pace and agility, and he's already making a name for himself with his electrifying performances. Watch out for this guy, he's going to be a superstar.
37. Josh Addo-Carr (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
The "Fox" is still one of the most dangerous wingers in the game. He's got a nose for the try line and that pace is unmatched. It's going to be interesting to see what he can do with a fresh start at the Bulldogs.
36. Harry Grant (Melbourne Storm)
Grant is a genuine weapon off the bench. He's a threat with the ball in hand, and his workrate is second to none. You can always count on him to provide some spark and energy for the Storm.
35. Valentine Holmes (North Queensland Cowboys)
Holmes is another player who can really light up a game. He's got a big boot, he can score tries, and he's always looking to make things happen. He's a leader for the Cowboys, and a real handful for the opposition.
34. Liam Martin (Canberra Raiders)
Martin is a workhorse for the Raiders. He's a no-nonsense back-rower who gets the job done, and he's always willing to put his body on the line for the team.
33. Tevita Pangai Junior (Penrith Panthers)
"Tevita" is a powerhouse in the pack. He's got size, strength, and skill. The Panthers have a real gem in this young man, and he's going to be a crucial player for them this season.
32. David Fifita (Gold Coast Titans)
Fifita has the potential to be one of the most dominant forwards in the game. He's got the skills and athleticism to be a real force. He's got to keep his head on straight, but if he does, the Titans are going to be a force to be reckoned with.
31. Nathan Cleary (Penrith Panthers)
The Panthers are lucky to have Cleary pulling the strings for them. He's got the best kicking game in the comp, and he's a real leader for the team. He's a true class act.
