Nadine Storm Fizzles Out as Milton Hits Florida
The tropical storm that had everyone on edge, Nadine, has officially fizzled out. Whew! Talk about a close call! Nadine, which was a tropical storm for a while, decided to lose its steam and is no longer a threat. But, as Nadine said "Sayanora!" , Milton popped up, hitting Florida with a punch.
The National Hurricane Center reported that Nadine had become a remnant low pressure area, meaning it’s basically just a bunch of rain and some wind. It’s a lot less scary than a full-blown tropical storm, that’s for sure!
While Nadine was fading into the background, Milton made a grand entrance, becoming a tropical storm just before making landfall in Florida. The storm brought some heavy rain and strong winds to the state, but thankfully, nothing too serious. So, Florida, you dodged a bullet there!
