Space Center Reopens Saturday, Hurricane Milton Passes
After being temporarily closed due to Hurricane Milton, the Space Center is set to reopen its doors to the public this Saturday. Visitors can once again experience the wonders of space exploration and learn about the history of rocketry.
Hurricane Milton swept through the region earlier this week, bringing heavy rains and strong winds. While the storm caused some minor damage and power outages in the surrounding areas, the Space Center was thankfully spared any significant impact.
The Space Center team worked tirelessly to ensure the safety of the facility and its exhibits during the storm. With the all-clear given, they were able to quickly prepare for the grand reopening. Visitors can expect to see all of their favorite exhibits, including the iconic Saturn V rocket, the Space Shuttle Atlantis, and the International Space Station mock-up.
Families are encouraged to come experience the wonders of the Space Center, with interactive exhibits, educational presentations, and thrilling simulations, all designed to inspire the next generation of astronauts.
With the hurricane season winding down, it’s a perfect time to visit the Space Center. Come experience the excitement and marvel at the achievements of human ingenuity in the field of space exploration!
