Can You Really See the Northern Lights in Kansas and Missouri?

It's a question that's crossed many minds, especially on those dark, clear nights. So, can you catch the Northern Lights in Kansas and Missouri? The short answer? It's extremely unlikely.

The Aurora Borealis: A Sky Show Far, Far Away
The Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, are a spectacular light show caused by charged particles from the sun interacting with Earth's atmosphere.
