Raptors Get Clawed by the Sixers in Season Opener

Ugh, what a bummer! The Toronto Raptors couldn't pull off a win in their season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night, falling to a 112-100 defeat. It was a tough game to watch, especially for die-hard Raptors fans.

The Sixers were just too much for the Raptors to handle. Joel Embiid was an absolute beast, putting up a monster 35 points and 15 rebounds. Honestly, it felt like he was scoring at will. Even though Pascal Siakam had a solid game with 22 points, it just wasn't enough to overcome Embiid and the Sixers' strong offense.

There were some bright spots for the Raptors though. Scottie Barnes looked fantastic, showing off his athleticism and hustle with 18 points and 10 rebounds. He's definitely gonna be a key player for the Raptors this year. But ultimately, the Raptors couldn't keep up with the Sixers' hot shooting, especially from beyond the arc.

This is just the first game of the season though. The Raptors have a long way to go, and they'll be looking to bounce back and show everyone what they're made of. We'll see if they can turn things around in their next game!
