Do Patti - Kajol & Kriti Sanon Impress on Netflix?
Netflix has been on a roll lately with some seriously gripping thrillers. So, when "Do Patti" popped up on my feed starring the awesome Kajol and Kriti Sanon, I was all, "Let's do this!". The plot revolves around two women, one a con artist and the other a lawyer, who get tangled up in a twisted web of lies and deceit.
But does it deliver?
Honestly, "Do Patti" is a mixed bag. It's like a delicious curry with some questionable spices.
The Good Stuff:
- Kajol is a powerhouse. As always, she brings her A-game, nailing the cunning, manipulative con artist character. You believe every word she says, even when you know it's probably a lie.
- Kriti Sanon shines too. She brings a certain vulnerability to her role, making her character relatable despite the high stakes. Her chemistry with Kajol is also a highlight, adding depth and tension to the story.
- The twists and turns are pretty good. The plot keeps you guessing, and even though you might figure out a few twists, the overall storyline is enjoyable.
The Not-So-Good Stuff:
- Some pacing issues. The film feels a bit rushed at times. Some scenes could have been explored more deeply, allowing the audience to really connect with the characters.
- Predictable plot points. While the overall story is engaging, some of the major twists are quite predictable. This detracts from the overall surprise factor and suspense.
- An ending that leaves you wanting more. The conclusion feels a bit rushed and doesn't fully tie everything together. It's like finishing a delicious meal but wanting a little dessert.
Verdict:
"Do Patti" is a decent watch with good performances and an engaging plot. However, its predictable twists and rushed ending could leave you wanting more. If you're a fan of Kajol and Kriti Sanon, this is definitely worth a watch. But if you're looking for a mind-blowing thriller, you might be a bit disappointed.
Overall, 3 out of 5 stars.
