Review: 'Venom: The Last Dance' - Intentional Badness?

Let's get real, folks. 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' was pretty damn good. It was fun, had great action, and actually had some decent laughs. But then came "Venom: The Last Dance." I mean, the title alone is enough to raise an eyebrow. What was Sony thinking? It's like they were determined to make a movie so bad it was good.

Did They Really Try To Make It Bad?

The first thing that struck me was the plot. It was like they took a blender, threw in a bunch of random comic book tropes, and hit "puree." The whole thing felt like a desperate attempt to appeal to both fans of the original Venom movies and those who just wanted a mindless action flick. The result? A mishmash of nonsensical plot twists, clunky dialogue, and some truly baffling character decisions.

What Makes 'Venom: The Last Dance' So...Strange?

Don't get me wrong, the film has its moments. Tom Hardy is as charming as ever as Eddie Brock, and the CGI is surprisingly good. But the problems just pile up. The action is repetitive, the villains are forgettable, and the movie never really seems to know what it wants to be.

It's almost like the filmmakers were intentionally trying to make a movie that was so bad it was good. But, unfortunately, it just comes off as bad.

Should You See It?

So, should you see "Venom: The Last Dance"? If you're a die-hard Venom fan, then you might find some amusement in the film's sheer awfulness. But for everyone else, I'd say skip it. There are far better superhero movies out there. This one just feels like a wasted opportunity.

One last thought: What's up with that ending? I mean, seriously, did they just throw that together in the last five minutes? It was like they were all just trying to get out of the room as fast as they could. Maybe that's the real secret behind this movie: It's all just one big inside joke. Or maybe they just ran out of ideas. Either way, "Venom: The Last Dance" is a movie that's best left unwatched.
