Spurs Players Evacuated After Hotel Fire Alarm: Did Someone Burn the Chicken?
Remember that scene in Home Alone where Kevin McCallister sets off the sprinklers in the hotel? Well, it seems something similar happened to the San Antonio Spurs, but instead of a mischievous kid, it was a fire alarm that sent them scrambling out of their hotel rooms.
The whole thing went down earlier today when a fire alarm went off at the team's hotel, causing a mass evacuation. Talk about a real life Hotel California situation! Thankfully, it seems the whole thing was a false alarm. No one was injured, and the team was able to return to their rooms after a short wait.
It's All Fun and Games Until the Fire Alarm Goes Off
Now, while the Spurs were probably feeling a bit rattled, it's fair to say it could have been a whole lot worse. Imagine if the alarm was actually caused by a real fire, like maybe someone accidentally burned the chicken in the hotel kitchen (we've all been there, right?). That would have been a whole different ball game!
So, while the Spurs might be thankful they didn't have to spend the night in the lobby, let's all take this as a reminder to double-check our smoke detectors, just in case. And who knows, maybe it's time for the Spurs to invest in some new fire safety training, just to be on the safe side!
But hey, at least the Spurs didn't have to deal with a real fire. That's a win in my book!
