TIPI-TAP Interview: Kep1er's New Chapter

Kep1er, the group that exploded onto the scene with their debut song "WA DA DA", is back with a brand new energy. Their third mini-album, "TROPICAL", is a vibrant, summery explosion of sound that's already capturing hearts. We sat down with the group to chat about their new album, their evolving style, and what's next for Kep1er.

You guys are known for your energetic, powerful performances. How did you approach this new album, and what's different about "TROPICAL"?

Bahiyyih: "We wanted to show a different side of Kep1er this time, something more playful and refreshing. Think about that feeling of the sun on your skin, the sand between your toes. That's the vibe we wanted to capture! We're still putting our own spin on it, but there's a new kind of sweetness in our music now."

The title track, "TIPI-TAP", is super catchy. Tell us about the inspiration behind it.

Yujin: "It's inspired by the sound of flip flops tapping on the sand! We wanted to create a song that felt like a carefree summer vacation. It's all about feeling good, having fun, and enjoying the simple things."

This is your third mini-album. Do you feel like you've grown as a group since debut?

Chaehyun: "Definitely! We've learned so much from our experiences so far. We're more confident, and we understand each other better now. We’re also pushing our limits creatively, trying new things, and evolving as artists."

What are you most excited about for this comeback?

Hikaru: "We're excited to share our new music with our Kep1ians and see their reactions! We've poured our hearts into this album, and we can't wait to perform it live."

Finally, what's next for Kep1er? Any hints about future plans?

Dayeon: "We're always working hard and thinking about new ways to surprise everyone! We're hoping to get back on stage soon, and we can’t wait to keep growing and evolving as artists. Stay tuned for more Kep1er magic!"
