Christie, who has been known to take a few jabs at Trump himself, added, "It's time for the party to move on from Trump's divisive rhetoric."

Even Elon Musk, the tech titan who's been known to be a bit of a wildcard himself, joined the chorus of criticism, tweeting, "Trump's insults are toxic and harmful to American democracy." Musk, who's recently been vocal about the need for free speech and open dialogue, suggested that Trump's behavior was "anti-American."
