Two Sacks: Jackson Struggles on Opening Drive
Man, the season opener was a rough one for Jackson and the team. The first drive was just a disaster. They were moving the ball alright, but then bam! Two sacks in a row, and it was all over. It was brutal.
Let's break down what happened:
The First Sack
The first sack came on a third-and-short. Jackson dropped back to pass, but the pressure came fast. It seemed like the offensive line was caught flat-footed, and the defensive end just blew right past them. Jackson had no chance to get rid of the ball.
The Second Sack
The second sack was even worse. Jackson tried to scramble out of the pocket, but he couldn't escape. It felt like the whole defense was on top of him. It was just a bad play all around.
The bottom line is, Jackson and the team need to fix the offensive line issues. They're just too vulnerable to the pass rush. If they can't protect Jackson, they're going to be in trouble all season.
It's not all doom and gloom though. They did come back to win the game, and Jackson made some nice throws in the second half. They just gotta find a way to clean up the offensive line and get Jackson into a better rhythm.
It's early in the season, so hopefully they can figure things out. They'll have a chance to bounce back next week, and we'll be watching to see if they can do it.
