UFC Edmonton: Moreno vs. Albazi - A Night of Knockouts and Close Calls

The Octagon is set, the lights are bright, and the energy is electric! UFC Edmonton is upon us, and we're live blogging all the action. Get ready for a night of knockouts, close calls, and everything in between as some of the UFC's best battle it out in the Canadian prairies.

Main Event: Brandon Moreno vs. Alexandre Pantoja - Flyweight Showdown

Round 1: This is a rematch we've all been waiting for! Moreno, the former champ, is looking to reclaim his throne, while Pantoja aims to cement his place as the top flyweight. The first round was a back-and-forth affair, with both fighters landing some heavy shots. Moreno seemed to be in control early on, but Pantoja came back strong in the latter half of the round.

Round 2: Moreno landed some brutal elbows, putting Pantoja in a tough spot. The crowd is going wild! It's a close fight, but it's hard to say who's winning.

Round 3: Both fighters are clearly gassed, but they're still giving it their all. Moreno is throwing some big punches, but Pantoja is staying in the fight. The bell rings and the judges have a tough decision ahead of them.

Decision: The judges score it 29-28, 29-28, and 30-27, giving the victory to Alexandre Pantoja! This is a huge win for Pantoja, cementing his position at the top of the division.

Co-Main Event: Marc Diakiese vs. Fares Ziam - Lightweight Banger

Round 1: This is the kind of fight that gets the crowd going! Both fighters are coming out swinging, looking to land that knockout blow. Diakiese was landing some big punches, but Ziam was able to keep him at bay.

Round 2: More back-and-forth action! Ziam is starting to land some good shots, but Diakiese is still in the fight. A close round, but I'm giving it to Ziam.

Round 3: This is all out war! Ziam with a big takedown, but Diakiese is able to scramble back to his feet. Ziam is throwing everything he's got, but Diakiese is tough as nails!

Decision: The judges score it 29-28, 29-28, and 29-28, awarding the victory to Fares Ziam!

Other Notable Fights:

• Miranda Maverick vs. Jasmine Jasudavicius: Maverick dominated this fight, taking home a clear unanimous decision.
• Kyle Nelson vs. Gavin Hallinan: Nelson got the knockout victory in the first round.
• Josh Parisian vs. Alan Baudot: Parisian won a hard-fought decision.
