'Venom: The Last Dance' Review: Meh
Let's get real, folks. "Venom: The Last Dance" wasn't exactly the blockbuster we were hoping for. I mean, come on, it's Venom! The symbiote with the bad attitude and the even worse fashion sense. But this time, the film just kind of... fizzled.
The Same Old Song and Dance
The movie felt like a rehash of the first two. We get the same old "Eddie Brock vs. the world, with a little help from his gooey pal" schtick. The plot was predictable, the action sequences were lackluster, and the humor, well, it was just kinda flat.
Missing the Mark on the Symbiote
The biggest disappointment was Venom himself. The character seemed to have lost that edge, that dark humor that made him so captivating. He was more like a petulant teenager than a terrifying alien symbiote. And let's not even talk about that CGI... it was rough, man.
A Flick Worth Skipping?
Look, if you're a die-hard Venom fan, you might get a kick out of "The Last Dance". But for everyone else, it's probably best to give this one a miss. There are far better ways to spend your precious time. This wasn't a terrible movie, per se, but it was so average, so uninspired. It felt like a missed opportunity, a chance to truly tap into Venom's potential.
So, unless you're a big fan of repetitive storylines and mediocre CGI, I'd recommend skipping "Venom: The Last Dance" altogether. You'll thank me later.
