Vikings Injury Report: Hockenson, Risner Out, Two Up
Ugh, another week, another injury report. It feels like the Vikings can't catch a break this season. The latest news isn't great, folks. T.J. Hockenson and Dalton Risner are both out for Sunday's game against the Bears.
Hockenson, the tight end who's been a big part of the Vikings' offense, is dealing with a concussion. This is a big blow, as he's been a reliable target for Kirk Cousins. The Vikings will really miss his athleticism and receiving ability.
Risner, the center, is out with a back injury. This is another tough one, as he's been a solid anchor on the offensive line. Losing him could mean more pressure on Cousins, which isn't exactly what we want to see.
But hey, it's not all doom and gloom!
There's some good news in the injury report, too. K.J. Osborn and Patrick Peterson are both expected to play. Osborn's return would be a boost to the receiving corps, while Peterson's presence in the secondary would provide much-needed veteran leadership and experience.
It's gonna be a tough battle against the Bears this week. But with Osborn and Peterson back in the lineup, maybe the Vikings can still pull off a win. Let's just hope the injury bug doesn't bite again, or it could be a long season in Minnesota.
