Where Do I Vote?
The first thing you need to figure out is where you’re voting. If you’re registered to vote in Orange County, you can find your polling location on the Orange County Board of Elections website. You can also check your voter registration status and see if you’re eligible to vote.
What Do I Need to Bring?
Now that you know where to go, let’s talk about what you need to bring. You’ll need a valid photo ID, like your driver’s license or student ID. If you’re not sure what ID is acceptable, check out the North Carolina State Board of Elections website.
What If I’m Not Registered?
It’s not too late to register to vote! You can register online or in person at the Orange County Board of Elections office. The deadline to register is October 14th, so don’t wait until the last minute.
What Time Does Voting Start and End?
Voting hours are 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m on Election Day. Be sure to arrive with enough time to wait in line, especially if you’re voting later in the day.
