Who Will Win the MLS MVP in 2023? The Race is On!
The MLS season is in full swing, and the race for the MVP award is already heating up. With so many talented players vying for the coveted title, it's hard to say who will come out on top. But don't worry, we're here to break down the contenders and give you our picks for the top contenders.
The Usual Suspects:
Hany Mukhtar (Nashville SC) - The reigning MVP is always a top contender, and Mukhtar is no exception. He's a true playmaker, scoring goals and assisting with equal skill. He's already lighting up the league, and if he keeps this pace up, he's got a real shot at winning it all.
Carles Gil (New England Revolution) - This guy's a magician with the ball at his feet. He pulls the strings for the Revs, and when he's on his game, he's practically unstoppable.
Sebastian Driussi (Austin FC) - Don't underestimate this goal-scoring machine. Driussi is a true game-changer for Austin FC, and he's proven himself to be a constant threat to any defense.
The Dark Horses:
Christian Benteke (D.C. United) - Benteke's got that "it" factor. He's been a beast in the Premier League and has the potential to be a dominant force in MLS.
Luciano Acosta (FC Cincinnati) - He's been quietly putting up numbers in Cincinnati. Acosta is a real playmaker, and if he keeps delivering assists and goals, he could be a surprise contender.
Jordan Morris (Seattle Sounders) - This guy is a fan favorite. He's a well-rounded attacker, and if he can stay healthy, he's got a great shot at making a run for MVP.
Our Prediction:
It's too early to call it, but we're feeling pretty confident about Hany Mukhtar taking home the trophy. He's got the experience, the talent, and the team to make it happen. But don't count out those dark horses, they could pull off a major upset!
Stay tuned for more MLS MVP updates throughout the season!
